Junior Furniture Designer  

We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate or junior designer who has a furniture design, or furniture and product design degree or Masters.

The role is focussed on design development for a growing number of furniture ranges as well as opportunities to work on bespoke projects.

A keen eye for detail and construction and an interest in the wider furniture market are a must, as well as a good historical understanding. An interest in new materials, processes and sustainable design should be demonstrated.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A BA or MA in furniture or product design
• A cultural curiosity and passion and good design history knowledge
• Good 3D modelling skills using SolidWorks and Rhino
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent internal and external communication skills
• The ability to thrive in a busy environment and work well under pressure
• Interest in design trends and aesthetics
• Strong research skills and a curious mind
• The legal right to work in the UK

Salary will be dependent on experience.

Furniture Fitter  

At ENVIRO Furniture, we design, manufacture and install bespoke commercial and residential furniture and joinery for a large number of clients.

The work is varied and our continuous commitment to supply a quality product for every project is embraced by the whole team.

We are now looking for a flexible, hands-on Fitter to join our team of highly skilled craftsmen.

About the Fitter role:

Your role will entail building and installing furniture and joinery items on site by studying drawings and specifications.

You will work closely with the factory team to ensure work is carried out professionally, efficiently, and able to meet deadlines considering all aspects of the process.

• Other duties will include:
• Setting-up and operating equipment.
• Verifying dimensions.
• Assembling and finishing components.
• Working safely and efficiently to all site and health and Safety rules and standards.

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

• Minimum 12 months bench joinery, hand crafted furniture, Site Carpentry or the equivalent experience
• A CSCS card is essential.
• You will need excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be out on site representing the company so you must be a polite, tidy, and approachable.
• Ability to work calmly and accurately to a high standard under time pressures.
• A valid driving licence is essential.
• Flexibility is a must as you should be prepared for early starts and overnight stays away
