Valchromat has been on the market since 1998 – won countless awards for innovation and can be spotted in many innovative architectural projects and high-end furniture items.

Coloured Throughout (not just the top)
Infused with organic dyes, Valchromat is available in a bold and limited array of colours. These dyes are also resistant to fading when exposed to UV rays from artificial light.
Finally, no more chipping showing through in your furniture!

Because it is created from different types of wood fibres, there are differences in colour absorption. You will find each piece of furniture has a distinct and subtle uniqueness depending on its position in the room, light and surrounding colours.

To enhance and protect the end unit, all valchromat based ENVIRO Furniture products come oiled, waxed or varnished.

Moisture Resistant
Valchromat is moisture resistant and easily integrated into areas like kitchens and bathrooms.

Environmentally Friendly
Valchromat is made from recycled softwood such as waste wood from branches and chips found on forest floors, making it one of the most environmentally friendly products on the market. Using waste wood helps to sustain forests and minimize carbon emissions from the process of cutting down trees.
Another aspect of Valchromat’s environmental credentials is the use of special organic non-toxic wood fibre bonding resin that does not contain any formaldehyde, allowing Valchromat to be used in the production of children’s toys.

The sustainability credentials of birch plywood are based on the wood itself, how is sourced and the manufacturing process.

Birch takes significantly less to grow than any other hardwood.

ENVIRO Furniture only procures FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified Birch Plywood, directly imported from sustainably managed forests in northern Europe.

These forests have been established as commercial forests and replant trees every year.

The wood wastage of the plywood manufacturing process is significantly less when compared with traditional lumber practices.

Because we use Birch Plywood, ENVIRO Furniture can stain its products with a range of varnishes and oils that have fewer harsh chemicals.
